The Importance of Brushing Your PebbleTec Pool Finish

Proper brushing of your pool/spa, from the first week throughout the life of your pool, is a crucial step in maintaining its beauty. In the first week, we recommend brushing all walls, steps, benches, and the floor at least once a day. This helps remove dust particles left over from the application and reduces the chance of calcium scaling. Brush all dirt and dust toward the main drains of the pool and spa. Regular brushing after the application assists with proper curing, allowing the finish to fully set and bond.

If you are still seeing dust particles in the second week, you can maintain daily brushing as needed. After the second week, brushing is only required to help prevent the buildup of algae and dirt.

Lastly, we recommend that you do not use your robotic cleaner for at least three weeks after the PebbleTec is applied.
